Boncuk
Boncuk's Story
Boncuk was found abandoned in a park in Bakırköy, tied to a tree with a rope. Deep rope marks around her neck showed she had been tied up for a long time. She was dehydrated and exhausted.
In the first days she didn't want to go near people. She eyed every outstretched hand warily. With a patient and gentle approach, she began to trust us within days.
The first time Boncuk wagged her tail, we knew the wounds of abandonment were starting to heal.
Her Life Today
After treatment, Boncuk became our most loyal friend. She has learned to trust people again. Now she runs joyfully to greet every visitor. We're looking for a permanent home for her.
Their needs
Status: Healthy — Boncuk has fully recovered physically.
Neck wound treatment — healed (full recovery)
The search for a permanent home continues. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. A home with a garden would be ideal.
